The Roses of Saint Rita

The Roses of Saint Rita was formed in December 2024 with the mission of prayerfully supporting the establishment of the new Saint Rita Maronite Mass Centre in Guildford.

Our first spiritual gathering—a morning of prayer and zieh—was held on the grounds of the Mass Centre on February 22, 2025. Since then, we have continued to come together in prayer on the 22nd of each month, offering our intentions through the intercession of Saint Rita.

In preparation for her feast, we hosted a nightly novena on the church grounds, drawing over 100 faithful each evening. These prayerful gatherings led up to a beautiful and joyful celebration on May 22 at Our Lady of Lebanon Co-Cathedral.

To thank our volunteers and supporters, we held an appreciation dinner on April 29, a chance to come together in gratitude and fellowship.

We are deeply grateful for the blessings we have received so far, and we look forward with hope and faith to the continued growth of this new parish and the spiritual home we are building together under the patronage of Saint Rita.
