The Our Lady of Lebanon Arabic School continues to play a vital role in preserving and promoting Arabic language, culture, and heritage within our parish community. The school is a proud member of the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools Inc and is recognised for delivering quality Arabic education in collaboration with NESA, the NSW Education Standards Authority.

Teaching focuses on the core language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Learning combines structured traditional methods with interactive programs to support student engagement and progress.

The school is staffed by twelve qualified teachers who cater for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Eight classes are offered, ranging from beginner to advanced levels, allowing students to learn according to ability. Classes operate during school terms on Saturday mornings, with additional adult Arabic classes held on Tuesday nights.

Students are encouraged to apply their language skills beyond the classroom. Participation in parish and multicultural events, including singing, dancing, and drama, provides practical opportunities to build confidence and express cultural identity.

The parish actively supports students in developing pride in their Lebanese heritage. Families are encouraged to foster the use of Arabic at home and within the wider parish and community, both in Australia and abroad. Through this work, the Arabic School continues to strengthen cultural connection, faith, and community life.
