Fersen Al Adra

Fersen Al Adra is the fourth and youngest branch of the Marian Family Sodality, dedicated to the spiritual formation of children. Its mission is to guide young members in knowing, living, and loving their Maronite Catholic faith, inspired by the example of Mary, Mother of God.

Over the past year, Fersen Al Adra has expanded its reach and deepened its impact. More than 200 children enrolled, supported by 28 active leaders, allowing the ministry to extend God’s love to even more young hearts. The team has worked diligently to enhance existing initiatives and introduce new programs that enrich the spiritual and social development of children.

Key events and initiatives included monthly Fersen Masses, Fersen Fun Day, Fersen Diocesan Day, Mary home visits in May, the Palm Sunday procession, and workshops for Mother’s and Father’s Day. The branch also celebrated St. Barbara’s Feast Day and hosted its first Disco Party, creating fun and meaningful opportunities for children to engage with their faith.

Intergenerational activities were introduced in collaboration with the Sodality, including sajj and ame7 making, while Fersen Al Adra strengthened its global network by participating in international initiatives with Fersen groups from Lebanon, Belgium, France, England, Kuwait, and Cyprus.

Looking ahead, Fersen Al Adra aims to continue building on this foundation, serving the next generation with passion, dedication, and commitment to their spiritual growth. The ministry gives thanks for the support and collaboration that have enabled its progress and looks forward to another fruitful year of faith, formation, and community.
