1- Contact the Church office
Call the church office on 02 9689 2899 during working hours fom Monday to Friday 9am to 4:30 pm & Saturday 9 am to 1pm to check on available dates and times that suits you and to make a tentative booking.
2- Confirm your church booking
Within 2 weeks from the initial contact with the chruch office, please call to confirm your church tentative booking date and time both with the Parish office and with the Priest who is to celebrate your marriage. A booking fee of $1000 is required.
3- Fill out the church reservation form
This form serves as a formalise and reserve the date and time for a wedding at Our Lady of Lebanon Church in Harris Park. It collects essential personal details, sacramental history, and ceremony logistics for both the bride and groom. CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT THIS FORM
4- Book your marriage preparation sessions:
As your decision to marry is one of the most important public and permanent decisions you will make in your life, the Maronite Catholic Church in Australia requires you to participate in the Marriage Preparation Program: “Forever and Always One.”
This program is a compulsory part of your marriage preparation and should be completed at least 6 months before your marriage date.
The Maronite marriage preparation program consists of the following modules:
- Session I: Marriage: A Divine Gift
- Session II: Two Become One
- Session III: The Power of Communication
- Session IV: Building a Strong Marriage
You are required to book into the Program through the website: www.maronite.org.au/marriage-preparation or by contacting the Maronite Chancery on 8831 0000 from Monday to Friday 10:00am to 5:00pm.
5- Appointment with your Priest celebrant:
The Priest blessing your marriage will contact you to setup a meeting to complete the Church and Government Marriage papers and finalise preparations for the Marriage Ceremony. Papers should be completed AT LEAST 1 MONTH before Marriage date.
